Major Tribal Casino Teams With Vegas Rival to Share Guest Benefits

In a collaboration that’s the first of its kind, Southern California’s Pechanga Resort Casino teamed up with The Venetian Resort Las Vegas for a joint partnership that benefits guests of both major meetings and gaming destinations.

The partnership is hailed as a first such between a Las Vegas casino-resort and a tribally owned casino. Non-tribally-owned gaming destinations and resorts have long viewed tribally owned gaming properties as a major source of competition.

The deal gives guests of each resort access to the benefits, amenities and casino club member rewards for both properties.

According to Pechanga, guests will have access to benefits such as the following:

  • Invitations to attend Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Angels and San Diego Wave games.
  • Shows and events at Pechanga Arena San Diego, SoFi Stadium and the recently opened Intuit Dome.
  • Exclusive access to hotel rooms, shows, private parties and other perks at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas as well as at Pechanga Resort Casino.

“Our team at Pechanga is always looking for unique and truly special ways we can deliver incredible experiences and luxury to our guests,” said Ken Perez, president of the Pechanga Development Corporation, in announcing the partnership. “We’re looking forward to this partnership with such a respected and sought after brand as The Venetian Resort in the Las Vegas hospitality and casino landscape.”

The partnership is a one-year deal with an option for renewal.

The AAA Four-Diamond Pechanga Resort Casino, located in Temecula, California, between Los Angeles and San Diego, offers 1,100 hotel rooms, fine-dining, a spa and championship golf at Journey at Pechanga, along with 275,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting space.

The all-suite Venetian Resort features more than 7,100 guest rooms across two properties, The Venetian and The Palazzo; restaurants from chefs such as Cote by Simon Kim, Bazaar Meat by José Andrés and Southern California favorite Gjelina; the Canyon Ranch spa and fitness center; a five-acre pool and garden deck inspired by the Italian Riviera; and more than 2.25 million square feet of meeting, exposition and convention space.
